Email stalking!

So I sent to the vendor a list of items I want to include on the contract last Friday and I still haven't heard back from them yet (said they need to check w/ owner/attorney etc)!   I know it’s only Wednesday morning but I wanna get it over with already!!! LOL

Thanks for reading :p

Ugh that blows.  Do you have a Blackberry and you're waiting for it to go off, or do you keep logging in at work LOL?

I know the feeling! My blackberry has been my life support throughout my planning. I can't log in to personal email at work, so I needed it on my phone and I love that I can receive emails where ever I go.

My work has the most ridiculous blocks on the internet.. I can't check aol or yahoo email.. but I can go on Facebook and on here. And up until yesterday I could edit my new blog, but I go on today and I can go to the page but all the edit and posting comments sections are blocked! It's re-diggy-diggy-donkulous!

Still no response!  Think it's ok to start bugging them tomorrow? :p

I'd start bugging... I'm totally guilty of this! Although I"m horrible at returning emails in a timely fashion lol karma maybe?

Totally feel you with the email stalking! Ehh..it is only Wednesday. Less than a week. What kind of things did you want included? If it's nothing too out of the ordinary they should be able to clear all it within a week. I'd try to hold off until Friday, if you can!

    Summerkutie - LOL

SillyLGoose - It's really just basic stuff.  Their "contract" only lists time, date, location, date of deposit due, date of balance due, room to be used (they have 2 rooms), bride/groom info and a statement saying that if tehre is an increase in price/person it won't go above $5. And then after that there will be another sheet listing menu items and linen color to be used.

It wasn't itemized and didn't clearly state what is included in the pricing etc.  I wasn't comfortable signing a contract that didn't clearly list EVERYTHING.  So I created a separate sheet of all the things we discussed in the email and at the meeting, which pretty much aren't in their "contract".  Then the event coordinator tells me she needs to get approval from the owner and attorney so I have to wait.  So I contacted her today and turns out I may have to wait longer so I may not sign it until next week - which I'm fine with.

I'm just surprised other couples just signed that without really going into details.  I had saw some signed contracts clipped in a clipboard and I think those were it (nothing added)!  I must be a pain in the butt to them LO

Well at least you know now! I'd rather know it will take some time and have it done right then wonder if they forgot about me! They better be holding your date while they sort this out.

I didn't add anything to the contract...Now that I think about it it didn't have that much included. Just the price/package, room, guest min and max for that room, and payment. Oh well! Too late now!

Yeah she told me she will hold the date until we get together and agree on it, which I am holding her word for it.  It would be nice if she would at least tell me earlier how long it may take, I hate to 'wait", especially when a lot of places have been booked a year ahead already, if anything happens I'd like to be able to have enough time to do more shopping around if needed.

Welp, I guess all I can do is wait!
