Question - Siggy Challenge?

Would you all be interested in doing a Siggy Challenge each month?  Basically just coming up with a monthly theme and putting a photo for that theme into your signature line, along with something like "Oklahoma Siggy Challenge"

See my current signature to see what I mean.

This type of thing helps to sort of "advertise" the board when you're in other boards, for girls who might not even realize there's an Oklahoma board and just happen to notice your signature.

Let me know what you think.

    If you click on "Update Profile" over on the left-side menu, then click "Edit my Avatar & Sig" on that page, you can update them there.

    If you want to include a picture, you have to have that picture uploaded somewhere (some people use photobucket, but I prefer Flickr) and get the HTML code for it.

    Ok.  If we get at least a few more girls to agree, we can do a suggestion post and then a poll to see what idea wins.  :-)

    I'll do it!  I was just talking to one of my BMs last night about how inactive the board is.  Her wedding is actually one of the featured OK weddings on here.  She said they used to have Knottie GTGs all the time with 20 or more people!  I would LOVE to see more people active on here.

    I would too.  It hasn't been very active, but I am really trying.  :-)

    Please let me know if you have any ideas!  I am open to all suggestions!

    And, I do think that even the few who post here... it helps if you come up with new posts and just ask ANYTHING... just keep posts "recent" and people who come in and see that people actually post here, will be more likely to stay/come back.  Does that make sense?

    Totally makes sense, I think the more people post the more other girls will come back and who knows how many people read and don't post.  I'm certainly guilty of that on some boards!  You're doing a great job as the mod!

    Thank you!  I try!  lol  It was so hard for those few months when I didn't have access and wasn't getting any feedback from KnotAnnie.  I am just glad it all got worked out!

    And I will say that I DO enjoy modding more now that my wedding is over.  I can offer ideas and give advice on stuff and really actually know what I'm talking about, from experience.  lmao  I feel like a house mother or something.  lmao
