Ice Cream Poll

We are having a Jeni's Ice cream cart at our wedding and need to turn in our flavor choices in a few weeks.  After months of debate, FH and i can't not pick our 2 favorite flavors per person. Which dont include any of her more traditional signatures, or any flavors containing chocolate.

If you were attending a wedding with Jenis, what do you think of the following selection:  Cherry Lambic Sorbet, Meyer Lemon Yogurt, Wildberry Lavender, and Goat Cheese with Roasted Cherries (it tastes like cheesecake)

I have never had Jeni's Ice Cream, but the flavors sound delicious. I think I would go with Cherry Sorbet and Goat Cheese with Roasted Cherries.

I've never had Jeni's... They sound good and I would definitely eat one of those flavors, but they're all fruity.  I'd recommend at least one common flavor like chocolate or vanilla.

Ditto what Beckmeister said . . . all fruity. Is there a reason for no chocolate? She has plenty of flavors that aren't chocolate, but also aren't fruity. (brown butter almond brittle in my favorite!)  I LOVE ice cream, but might actually pass because of that flavor selection. Definitely shouldn't be two cherry options.

They all sound delicious to me as well, but I would suggest a vanilla based flavor instead of one of the fruity one.

How do you get an icecream cart from Jeni's? I'm interested!

I dislike the lavender kind but the dark chocolate is pretty good to add a different into the mix

Any of those flavors would be great (says the girl that wants jeni's served at her wedding, too).  I think you're fine without offering a chocolate option, any are great to choose from.  And those are fun ones to combine. Smile

I loved their Buttermilk Strawberry. Not sure if that is available for your wedding or not though. But yes, those all sound very good. :)

How neat?! I'd like info to if you don't mind about having a Jeni's cart.

I think these ladies who haven't had it need to head over to one of their locations asap. I just actually bought the cookbook ;)

My favorite of those is Wildberry Lavender and I like the Blueberry Lemon too, but they're all delicious!!

AshleySweeny  They offered me two options, seeling bulk ice cream for the caterer to dispense, or hiring the cart + employee for 2 hours.  We went all the way with the cart, since this was my favorite part of our wedding reception.

You can find information on their site, here's a link to the catering/special events page.

    Thanks so much! Sounds amazing!

Wildberry Lavender is one my absolute favorites! And the Meyer Lemon Yogurt is so good, too! (I;m not a chocolate ice cream girl, so I wouldn't be disappointed if there wasn't any chocolate.) But I would omit one of the cherries and maybe serve something like the Ugandan Vanilla Bean, Salty Carmel, or Bourbon Buttered Pecan as another option to the fruit. But if you don't have other options than the four flavors you listed, you will be just fine. Your guests are so lucky you're giving them Jeni's!

Thanks for the post about this- I want to have Jenis at my reception too. Great to know they give you the option of the cart or just the pints!

I would just be happy with the cherry lambic- it's my favorite!
