Fit and flare crinoline?

My dress is a fit and flare and I want to accentuate the flair a bit more. Is there such thing as a fit and flare crinoline? If so, where can I buy one at a decent price?

Re: Fit and flare crinoline?

  • What about just a regular one that you remove all the upper layers - leaving the thickest part at the bottom? Or once you move the top stitch some down below? I am not sure there is an actual fit and flare crinoline - My dress is very similar and the designer stated he made sure it was part of the dress otherwise it would be hard to get the look he wanted it to be.

  • They do have them at David's Bridal. That's really the only place I've seen them. I have seen some mermaid crinolines as well which are a little more severe in the fact the the poof starts at the very bottom.

Would you recommend getting one? My other worry is that It will add bulk to my midsection where the dress is more fitted.

  • they are really thin at the top- i would recommend trying it with the dress to see how it works
