veil question

Is there a DIY way to get the waves out of my veil? I have a handheld fabric steamer, not sure if I should give that a try?

I've had it hanging up for a few weeks and that helped because this is what it looked like at my trial. Just need to get those last few waves out of there!

Use the steamer. That ought to get the wrinkles out safely. Do not iron it because you'll either burn it or melt it. The steamer is the safe way to go. It's what I plan to do if mine ever shows up.
  • I agree, give the steamer a try. Start on the lowest setting and go from there.

  • My seamstress told me to take a hot shower with it hung up outside.  The steam from the shower will fill up the room and lightly steams it.  You could give that a try if you're afraid of using the steamer directly on it.
