Bra Troubles...

I may be the only idiot that is totally lost on what bra to wear with my dress. lol.

I am wearing the Maggie Sottero - Destiny dress, which has a sweetheart neckline, strapless. Here are the pics...

I have found some websites that have a decent selection...I was basically wondering if any of you all have any recommendations on where to purchase from. And is it typical to wear just a normal strapless bra with this sort of dress or am I supposed to wear like, more of a bustier type deal?

Blah!

Have you thought about "sticky boobs" http://www.siliconeworks.com/

I am wearing ones from Target this weekend for a wedding I am on the suggestion of my wedding dress seamstress, since I always tug at strapless bras.

Do you NEED to wear a bra??? Most Maggie dresses come with the corset back... and if that was you choice with your dress you probably won't need one.  I had a Maggie corset and am quite large up top and I was supported, lifted and comfortable the whole day/night.  You can also as the seamstress to sew some cups in for you as that seems to work well.  The tighter they pull the corset the more support you will get.  Otherwise with the sweetheart neckline and low back it could be a big challenge to find a bra that will give you the look you want (from the top to the bottom of the bra) and be comfortable for the whole day.

    Good luck! :)

I would see if you could get cups sewn in like JLO said. That is what I had to do since my dress was pretty much backless.

With that dress, I would totally go for the sewn-in cups. If you can find a seamless longline bra with a low back, that might work well, too, but a good, truly seamless one is hard to find.

Don't buy anything till you try it on in front of the seamstress.  The seamstress will be able to tell you what you need. Most likely, you need the seamstress to sew in cups for you.

    Ok cool!

I wasnt sure if going bra-less was really an option, but now that I think about it...the dress WAS a little padded feeling in the front. If anything, maybe the stick-ons would be good. I HATE strapless bras, so its good to know that I might not NEED to wear one! lol.

    Thanks girls!

I did a longline bra from Macy's and had no issues. I felt a lot more secure with that than sewn-in cups (seamstress and I tried those first but I just couldn't get them situated so they felt right) or a regular strapless bra.
