Bridgewater Manor

Hi, has anyone used or is going to use the upstairs Hunterdon Room for their reception?  I asked about availability for my date Oct. 2011 & they said they had nothing...then later on said the Hunterdon room was open for 120 max.  I could trim my list, but wondered how that room was if anyone else used it....thank you :)

We're using the Imperial room for 165 people and I know the Somerset room maxes out at 175. I don't know much about the Hunterdon room aside from I know they had a Sweet 16 in the room with 80-90 people. Is the Somerset room booked? I think that might be your best bet. We went back and forth with them on which room/which date and decided to get the room we wanted not on the date we wanted- we were just too concerened about not being able to invite who we wanted or being cramped. It's a tough call though! Feel free to PM me or email me if you have any other questions- I'm getting married there in less than 4 days!

We got married at the Bridgewater Manor and used the Hunterdon room. We only had about 75 geusts with 8 tables and we fit very comfortably. The can fit up to 12 tables of 10 with the oval tables. I don't think it would be too tight at capacity.

I am assuming you would be using the Westminster room for the cocktail hour. I think that would be tight with 120 people in it.

If you would like to see pictures of the rooms or if you have any other question, let me know. We had an amazing time and all of our guests loved the bridgewater manor. The food was absolutely amazing and you get alot for your money.

On a side note Heather- we requested Malik for our wedding! Thanks again for all of the great feedback on BWM.

Thats great Sherri, and your welcome!!!

I have another little bit of advice for you. We used the cocktail hour to take pictures so we were not able to go to it. Malik brought a tray of food into the bridal suite while the guests were going into the cocktail hour. If you want something from the carving stations, chafing dishes or any of the displays, don't hesitate to ask him. He will bring anything that you want. I waited until the end to ask for specific food. My MOH offered to bring me some and he stopped her and got it for me.

Thank you Heather!  You got married the day I got engaged :)  Would you mind sending me pics?  I'd appreciate it, I can't really see anything from their website.  My email is:  memonte1@aol.com.  Thanks so much, Mary
