Quechee Club?

Hi all!

We're thinking about booking the Quechee Club for our reception, but haven't really found any reviews online. Has anyone attended a wedding there/had their wedding there? I would live to hear some feedback!

Thanks ladies!

I have several friends that had their wedding at the quechee club and they really liked the location and food. My personal experience is that they never e mailed me back and when I phoned I got the impression unless you book the whole inn for the weekend for a larger wedding, they were unable to accommodate our day. I didn't receive a F/U call. I would defiantly contact and visit. Good Luck!

My bad...I believe the Quechee Club is not  the venue I was referring too. I was referencing The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farms. My apology.

My daughter picked this venue a year ago. After we signed a contract the executive chef and social director left. We met with the new director Julie who extremely nasty and bad mouthed the band and some other vendors in town that we had hired. She was very unprofessional to say the least.

If you choose to have your wedding here ONLY WORK with Stephanie, the assistant director who was wonderful.

Two weeks before the wedding Julie called my daughter to tell her our rain plans to have the ceremony in the Grill Room would not work because we had 10 more people coming and they could not accomodate us. We had a SIGNED contract saying we could use this room in case of rain. They did not honor this agreement.

The food at the luncheon was very good. The food at the cocktail hour was awful, especially one table with cheese and crackers that had people standing in line for 20 minutes. VERY POOR PLANNING and location for this table caused people to stand in line for nothing but some cheese. They needed two tables at differnt locations to accomodate 160 guests.

If you decide to use this place make sure you meet with only Stephanie, the assistant director. Julie needs some advice from the owners of this club in dealing with people and honoring signed contracts.
