Bridesmaid Glasses- DIY Chickity CHECK! (pls delete first post)

Hello,

I am going to try posting this again. For some reason, TK wouldn't show my initial post and pics and it won't let me edit the original one. Maybe I am just clueless!!

Anyway, I just finished my BM glasses. Questions: Do you like it with or without the bow? And, should I add more dots? I tend to think less is more however, I do kinda like the big bow. Thoughts??

They are very cute! I like how the bow looks... adds something special. If they want to keep them around after the wedding then they can take the bow off and just have a personalized wine glass!

I love the bow! And I'm also a less is more kind of girl, so I think the amount of dots you have on the glasses is just fine! They look adorable! Mind sharing how you did them?

Thanks for the comments ladies!! I will leave the dots as is and keep the bow. The bow is just tied on there so they can take it off for washing.

How to make them:
First, I bought dollar store wine glasses. You could get nicer ones but I got my BM lots of stuff so I was fine with these glasses. Plus, they are pretty good quality.

Wash the glasses and then rub the outter surface with alcohol.

Then, I picked a font I liked in Word and printed of the initials I needed in a bigger size.

I then taped the printed initial to the inside of the glass.

Then I just painted. It was so easy and essentially a paint by numbers.

I did the same thing with the dots.

To cure you just put them upside down in the oven for 10 min on a cookie sheet or wait the full 21 days. After that, they can be washed. I would do hand wash over dishwasher just to be safe!
