Food tasting during the week?

Hi ladies,

just curious: Did your food tasting fall on a weekday? I just got a call from my venue (Drexelbrook) last night, that our food tasting is in February. I checked the date and it falls on Wednesday and right around the time when people are heading home from work. The time and date are so inconvenient, so we probably have to leave work earlier or take the day off... since it would take us forever to drive on City line ave during rush hour. My bro got married last year at a different venue and his food tasting was on a saturday, so just wondering if yours was scheduled on a weekday too...

    I'm getting married there as well. What day is it. My coordinator told me it would be in february but didn't tell me when. I guess They do it on the weekdays because they are so busy on weekends.

    Anthony from Drexelbrook called me last night, he said it would be Feb 29th at 6.30pm... i guess i see you there! :)

    Ours was just for my H, my mom, and my brother went as well.  So we scheduled it ourselves.  We were on vacation so to speak since we live in London and I'm pretty sure we did go during the week.

    Mine was a Wednesday at noon. It was just myself and my parents but that is when they do them because they are doing weddings on the weekend. I had to take a half day from work.

    They probably can't do it on the weekends because of weddings/shower/events that they hold there then. I had to schedule mine during the week at my venue for that reason. I feel your pain though- it is super inconvenient!
