Hey Knotties,

I need ideas for the magazine. We’ll use your Knot Name for this, so you’ll be “wedding famous” here! I need to know what you’re are doing or what you did to make your wedding special. Maybe you have an awesome theme or are serving an amazing midnight snack? Maybe you’re using your parents’ cake toppers or are wearing your mom’s dress. Whatever it is, I want to know! The more specific, the better!

    We entered into the reception doing the FSU war chant.  It was awesome seeing all our guests doing it with us.

    Hi Annie! :)

    One of my favorite details from our wedding was the trolley ride we booked for the guests between the ceremony and reception.  Both the ceremony and reception were in the same location so we had to get them away from the venue for a short time while chairs were broken down and the caterer finished setting up for dinner.  They boarded the trolley immediately after the ceremony which took them on a 30 minute sightseeing tour around historic St. Augustine.  The Night of Lights festival was going on so all of the Christmas lights were up too.  It was so beautiful, and everyone absolutely loved it!

    My parents passed away when I was a teenager, then my grandmother that raised my sister and I (my fathers' mother) passed away in 2008 so I want to remember them during the ceremony. I am walking down the aisle by myself, but when I reach the front I am having a pillar set up with a memorial candle which I will stop and light before I reach my fiance. I'm sure it will be one of the most special moments of my wedding day.

    Me: 33 DH: 36 History of left ovarian pain and cysts. Laporoscopy in 1999 and 2001 showed possible cysts and minor adhesions. TTC since May 2011. Day 3: TSH 1.60mIU/L FSH 6.8mIU/mL Estradiol 46 pg/mL Day 10: FSH 5.3mIU/mL Sperm motility and morph 80% (Normal). HSG on 3/23/12 shows bilateral mid-tubal obstructions. Laparoscopy 5/22/12 revealed 100% bilateral obstruction, IVF only option to conceive.

    We are having a beach wedding.  So, rather than having a Guest Book, we are having a "Message in a Bottle".  Our guests will write their well wishes on a piece of paper and insert ithem into the bottle which will then be corked at the end of the reception.  On our 1 year anniversary we're going to crack open the bottle  to read the messages from our loved ones.

    I had a set of grandparents that passed away this past couple years so what I want to do is have a table set with our family wedding photos.

    Our wedding will be at the Casa Marina hotel in Jacksonville Beach, FL.  It is a historic hotel and has old vintage pictures of Jacksonivlle Beach in black and white all down the halls.   I took the idea and we are having a "vintage beach" style wedding.  We are having a book made out of our engagement pictures for the guest book so we are going to be dressed up in vintage outfits at the beach and out in the small beach downtown area.
