Great weekend!

Did everyone else enjoy this fantastic weather? On Saturday I went down to Popham to collect rocks to use in my centerpieces -- p.s., for the ladies who said Popham was their fave Maine beach, have you been yet this year? The beach is like GONE, totally eroded, with the dunes and walkways now 10 feet in the air! It's so sad...

I had to work from home today, so FI and I skipped the family stuff and he spent all day barbequing pork. It smells so good! I'm so excited to eat it in a few minutes :) FI used to compete in barbequing competitions and actually won one category, but since we've been together I've never experienced it first-hand, so I'm excited :) Maybe a little too excited!

What did everyone else do?

    Too sad to hear about Popham, I heard on the news the beach was damaged but I didnt realize how much.

    Yesterday was my Moms Birthday so we went to OOB. There were hundreds of huge shells on the beach

    My daughter had a blast grabbing as many as she could. It got chilly towards lunch time though so we headed home. Today we spent all day outside too, I love this little taste of summer.

    I have exams this week :( but my family, FI and his family (his sisters also live in the area) came down for the weekend.  So this weekend was a balance between family time & study time.  Everyone left around 2ish and I spent the afternoon soaking up the sun while studying..it was gorgeous!! I didn't make it down to the beach but my landloard (the apt is above their garage) said she went for a walk on Pine Point beach...it was packed!  So sad about Popham beach!

    It was a wonderful weekend! My friday started with the opening of the "Millennial" art exhibition in Saco it is a juried show for artist in the area, my fiance as well as myself are in the show (go check it out if you are in the area) and ended with celebrating a friends birthday. Saturday I had errans to do during the day and work 3-10:30 i attended the greek easter service at midnight and then spent today with my fiance's family. That is really too bad about popham--im sure its still beatiful even though its changed. Krisdoug i feel you, i am in the last 5 weeks of my semester and its very hard not to plan because i really should be studying!
