Marry & Tux recommended seamstresses

I got a letter today from Marry and Tux letting me know that my dress is in! They included a list of suggested seamstresses to use for alterations. Has anyone used any of these or have any recommendations for/against them? OR if you haven't but have a great seamstress recommendation in the North Shore/Merrimack Valley it would be greatly appreciated!

I used one of their recommended seamstresses.  She's in Medford - Eva from Adam and Eva.  Info is in my bio.  I highly recommend her!  And she's dirt cheap.

Thanks jenvalet, I'll keep that one in mind.

The other ones I was considering that are a reasonable distance from me are:

-A Stitch in Time by Lourdes in Nashua, NH
    -Hems Plus in Dracut
-Geroge & Christina's Tailor Shop in Lowell
-Andover Tailoring by Dawn in Andover
    -Alterations by Marie in Tyngsboro
-Custom Stitch by Sue in Wilmington

any references for any of these places?

I got my dress there also, and got that same letter.  One of my friends used Lourdes and highly recommended her.  Then my consultant let it slip that lourdes was amazing.  My mom then asked is that who you would you would use, and she was like everyone on that list is good, my mom pressed and asked who would you use, and she said Lourdes.  I am calling her tomorrow to make my appointment.

I was wondering when I should contact a seamstress?  I got my dress at David's Bridal but don't want to use their alterations....had bad experiences.  I think I may use one of the above but am not sure when to contact them?  I get married October 2?  When is the right time?

Does anyone know anymore about this "Lourdes" place? I cannot seem to find it on the internet - any contact information is greatly appreciated! (Is the name "A stitch in time" - is there an address?)

    Thanks!

I just booked my appointment with Lourdes, if you still need her address it's 8 Burgess St. Nashua NH 03064. The girl at Mary and Tux said that if she was getting married she'd bring her dress to Lourdes so I booked her even though there's nothing on the internet about her business.
