  Here is the turkey recipe I used last year and everyone loved it so I am doing it again this year.

  Teriyaki-glazed sweet potatoes (super easy but super yummy):
  
  

  1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  3 tablespoons firmly packed dark brown sugar
  1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted

  1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  1 1/2 pounds sweet potatoes

  1. Stir together first 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Peel sweet potatoes, and cut each in half crosswise. Cut each half into 8 wedges. Place in bowl, and toss with teriyaki mixture. Pour potato mixture into a greased shallow pan, arranging in a single layer.
  3. Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 10 minutes; stir and bake 5 to 10 more minutes or until tender.

  Makes 4 to 5 servings.
