Engagement Photos

Hello!

I was looking for any ideas for engagement photos or save the date cards in the Quad City area or anywhere north or even the Clinton area.  I am not familiar with a lot of places to go so looking for anything!

    First, you should ask your photographer which locations s/he likes.  They should be able to give you lots of choices.

    In Davenport, Vanderveer Park is a very popular location for photos.  People go there for wedding, engagement and prom photos.

    We had our engagement pictures taken at River View Terrace at dusk (during the fall) and then down along the riverfront with the Centennial Bridge in the background.

    But definitely ask your photog for his/her opinion or just look at their website.  If you see backgrounds you like, point them out.

    we did half of ours at vanderveer and then half of them we just did along the streets and alleys of downtown davenport. if your photographer is creative enough they can see a great background in an alley. for indoor locations you could try any of the local hotels, or even restaurants

    also try looking on pinterest or just google engagement pictures for ideas i didnt do that before ours and i wish i would have!!

    ours were taken in dubuque since thats where we were living but here are some ideas:

    That was provided by our phototographer Nicole, but you can get them online or print out your own and cut it out :)
