Engagement Ring/Wedding Ring Appraisal

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good shop/store to go to to get rings appraised. I looked at one in the Brattleboro area (I live near Bellows Falls) and they said that it takes a few weeks.
I don't want to part with my engagement ring for that long. :( Haha.

Any suggestions for Brattlboro/Bellows Falls areas?

    Honestly, I would suck it up and head towards Burlington or Manchester.  I'm sure anyone in the BFalls area would just be shipping it to someone in one of those places for the appraisal anyway.

    If you're not interested in that far, I've had good dealings with the Amidon Jeweler in Claremont - which is only about a 40 minute ride from bfalls.  They're always really friendly and I trust the Amidon name.  My e-ring or appraisal are not from there though, so no specific review.  Plus I would bet money they do their appraisals off site too.

    I'm 2-3 hours from Burlington, so I really wouldn't want to go up there. I might head over to Claremont. I didn't even think to check out NH. Haha.
