buying a dress online

I have a dress that I absolutely LOVE! But, it's online and the maker is over in China....

Has anyone bought a dress online or are thinking about it?

Should I be worried about the fact that it's being made in China?

Re: buying a dress online

  • Yes, you should be very, very worried. Take Lia's advice and check out the sticky at the top of this board (FAQs).
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • In Response to buying a dress online:

Read the reviews of the company carefully ... or ask to speak with someone who has ordered from them.

I have seen dresses made by Farah Furtado Couture and their work is high quality & affordable (under $1000) they will make customized dresses & have sales reps in the US & Canada.

Here's a link to thier blog with contact info:

    Good Luck!!
  • The line "have sales reps in the US & Canada," makes it sound like you work for the company. It doesn't sound like someone would say in natural conversation. Sorry if I'm wrong.
  • Oops, sorry..I didn't even read the stickys before posting thanks!

I will try to post a pic and hopefully someone has seen something similar out there
