Wedding Woes

I come bearing gifts

Here is the first one. I'm a member of livejournal.com, and there are LOTS of extra-lame communities on there to watch. The link below comes from "steam fashion"--if you don't know what steampunk is, better google it--and this guy joined and is just the epitome of fabulous awfulness. The comments are always a good time. Enjoy, but be warned--these communities will ban you in a heartbeat if you snark over there, so bring it back here.

Enjoy (you may need to scroll up to start at the top):

    *AHEM*

I'm having a steampunk wedding. It's actually becoming a trend, and is really pretty classy and interesting. It's Victorian age Sci Fi, and a lot of the fashion is absolutely stunning.

I don't mean to be rude, but you really shouldn't criticize cultures you know nothing about. For some people this a way of life-and they take it as seriously as you take whatever you're into. These days there are a lot of subcultures out there. It's not very nice to call them lame.

I personally don't care for his hair, but that's his choice...and his fashion sense is fantastic. Steampunk fashion isn't exactly cheap either.

Awesome.  I'll be sure to laugh and point at your wedding too.  Dressing to look like you just stepped off the set of Sweeney Todd is funny.

I would not dress like this but as an artist I would love love love to take photographs of someone who does dress like this! Very interesting character. I didn't see the music part so I have to go back and check it out.
