seamstress recommendations needed!!

Good morning ladies.  I am looking for your help or any recommendations on where I can take my dress to get altered/hemmed/bustle, etc.  I went to Davids Bridal and I have had so many problems with them I am just over them!! They were going to charge me $220 and the money was all due up front?!?!!!  Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

    I know she doesn't always get the best reviews on here but I loved Judy The Seamstress in Winter Park.

    I used Judy too and was really happy with her.  It wasn't cheap but I had some MAJOR work done.  She was really nice to me throughout the whole process.

    I would never use Judy the Seamstress.  SHe was horrible and rude and the bust of my dress fit terribly and I tripped on my dress and had to pin it up on the wedding morning because she argued with me and flat out refused  to hem it up more.  SHe was rude and negative in every possible way. I had to find another seamstress to redo what she actually refused to do and the bust on my dress still didn't fit me right on the day of the wedding.  I would've paid any amount just to have my dress fit correctly and not deal with such a nasty woman as her.  Read the review in the link below for details.

    I second Jeanine! She is a doll and I've had a great experience with her so far. She is SUPER sweet and very helpful in helping you get what you want with your alterations. For hemming my dress and doing a french bustle she's only charging me $125! I'm definately going to give her a nice tip. She's worth every penny! Good luck!

    I am using Janeen as well.  She came over to my house a couple of days ago to fit my dress.  She is also doing alterations for two of my pregnant bridesmaids that need some extra work done to their dresses in a tight time frame.
