50's style wedding dress... what to put the bridesmaids in?

Hey ladies!

I'm new to this board, but have been flicking through the forum and you all seem to give excellent advice!

My problem is that I have no idea how to dress my bridesmaids! I'm having a Candy Anthony wedding dress custom made from London, and really don't know what sort of bridesmaid dresses would go!

Has anyone else had a similar issue, or any ideas on what I could do? Any advice would be appreciated!

they can have not so much to the dress but a 50's swing dress would work with some heels......i made my own dresses and my BM's are were same style different colors with little heels

I agree. Put them in 50s dress. Have you tried unique vintage? What are your wedding colours?

I think a swing dress would be fantastic, like the other ladies said. You could always put them in a vintage looking suit - always classic and you may have an easier time finding them... I see them all the time in the suit section of the major department stores. Maybe a lovely pencil skirt and dressy top with some awesome ankle strap heels. Sorry for all the random thoughts...
