Hmm... I have a lot of wedding related stuff so I'll save that until Wednesday. In other news, FI is officially on his own at work (the woman he replaced had her last day Friday so he got pizza, cupcakes, and ice cream at work. What did I get at work Friday? Yelled at...).

We have the busiest week ever this week with three graduations (two of which are at the same time in different towns), our carpet, electricity, my front porch, and maybe a propane tank going in to our trailer, and our weekend trip.

We're going to Chicago for FI's car club national meet. It's not exactly my thing, but I'm getting a free mini vacation, and I'm excited to have a trip that's just FI and me.

Living together is going well. FI has to be at work at 6am so we're up at 5 every weekday morning. I don't think it's clicked in my mind yet that we literally share a bedroom. haha

Finals were last week, and I found out that I got a 3.75 GPA this semester so assuming I get at least an A and a B in my summer classes, my scholarship is safe for good!

Finally, we're signing the paperwork today for me to get a share of my family's company so I'll officially be a business owner hopefully by the end of the week. It's my graduation present a little early.

Wow, that's a lot. I hope everybody else has lots of fun things going on as well because I definitely feel like a complete and total AW right now.

On a non-related and day late side note, I know we have some mommy's on our board so to you ladies, Happy (Belated) Mommy's Day!

Hmm more of a worry wort thing rather than AW, but here goes...

My FI is transferring to a new garage but it's like he's going through another re-hiring process. So far everyone is getting phone calls and sort of just getting around to people at random. One friend got his call last monday, another last friday. He is nervous he hasn't gotten his yet and he thinks it is because he put too high a number for "expected pay."

The guy who got called friday is getting bumped down significantly, but in a matter of months will get back up to normal and then exceed that number in 2 years. FI didn't think of that, and basically wrote what he makes now, which is much more than that significant bump down. Do you guys think that is a reason a company might not make an offer? Otherwise he is great, no accidents, marks on his record, drugs lol etc.

On a much happier note, my cousin is in labor RIGHT NOW which is exciting, so hopefully I will be meeting a new cousin this evening after work :-)

My AW is about my FI, he's so sweet. We spent the WHOLE weekend working on staining our fence (our backyard is huge) and it was just us and the radio (and the dog playing in a kiddie pool the whole time).

To back track, last week we went to trivia night at a local place and the guy running it is the guy we hired for our DJ. He was awesome and FI is pumped about him and wants to go to trivia every week to build a relationship with him prior to the wedding. Anyways, all the radio listening to we did this weekend got him all hyped up about wedding music. He literally wanted to talk about nothing else, which is fine by me. Even after we finished staining for the day on Saturday, he found a website that has a bunch of "top 10" lists for wedding music. We sat and listened to them all! (for anyone interested it's Twin City Weddings, tcweddingdjs.com, we found the lists on the youtube channel. They're broken down by decade, genera, best of, worst of, etc. It's pretty awesome). He also got really excited about asking me what was left to plan, what vendors we needed to meet with, what cake flavor we might want, WP gifts, just everything! Our one year mark is only 18 days away and he has apparently (for now) caught wedding fever. It's adorable and I love it!

I'm trying to encourage him to go our DJ's website and start building our playlist. Once you secure your date, which we have, you can do your entire wedding playlist on their website. It's broken down by things like cake cutting, dinner, dancing, WP intro's, etc. I only want control over the ceremony music, he do everything else because he's better at that kind of stuff. Plus we want our music super PG because we're having lots of kids and conservative southerns (his family). But he wants us to do it together. I think I've even got him to agree on a special dance for us to "Still the One" by the Orleans (our first dance is "Constellations by Jack Johnson). He paid for us to take swing/ballroom dance lessons a few years ago (his idea even though he hates dancing) and I think he'll agree to do swing dance number with me at some point to this song because he's just so excited right now.

Megann, that's so cute!!

We got our garden planted on Saturday and set up our patio furniture (background story on the furniture: I scored an amazing deal on it last summer and couldn't wait to get home to tell my fiance...except he proposed to me right after I got home, so my awesome bargain shopping skills got upstaged...not that I'm complaining!!). We might have gone a little overboard when buying seeds for the garden...we planted 16 different things, and we still have to do the herbs, tomatoes, and peppers.

My FI finally finished the first chapter of his master's thesis. This is fantabulous news to me, because he's one step closer to a job-- which means finally being together!

I finally looked at my final grades yesterday and a class I had literally failed and was going to have to take again was posted as a B-! I'm so excited I don't have to do it again and thankful there was a killer scale on our grades.

Gotta love grade curves! I got 20 extra points on a test this semester because of them. Congrats on the grade!

Congrats on the grade! I thought I was going to do poorly in one of my classes this semester, but I finally got the grade back and was bumped up a full letter grade. So thankful!
