Need a Venue

So my BFF is getting married in MAY (she wants the 27th) and still no venue. Her budget is about 10-12K but she wants something all inclusive (mainly open bar lol) She doesnt care where in Houston at this point.

TIA

is that just the budget for the venue? open bar most places for the full night will run about 5-6k. I would look at the Zaza or another hotel. They're most likely to offer you a good price on an open bar. Not sure if the UH catering has a preferred venue, but you're likely to get a good price with anyone they recommend as well as that program works with Spec's.

thank you, her whole venue budget is 10-12K if she can find cake, food, and drinks that would be great. Thanks again for the info.

If League City isn't too far, try Centurion Palace.  We just booked our reception there last week.  The bar is open bar all night for $5/person, but of course is limited to beer, wine and champagne - no hard liquor.  But they can make frozen wine margaritas as well.   The venue is $7450/100 people, and $24.50/person beyond the 100. ($7950/100 ppl and $29.50/addt'l person if including the bar) Seats up to 300.   The package includes buffet, Bride's cake and DJ.

    How many people?

I have a friend that got married at Heather's Glen -- she loved it and it was definitely within the price range you mentioned.

Bella Elegante had a few all inclusive packages that would fall within her price range as well depending on which room you select.  Tucany Villa too.

I got married at Le Jardin off of 1960.  I paid a  little over 8K for 125 people.  The thing I liked about this place is that I got to bring in my own alcohol.  Which saved me tons of money.
