Good Morning. I'm getting sick and not happy about it. We have dinner reservations at a really nice restaurant tomorrow and I'm gonna be p*ssed if I can't taste the food because my nose is stuffed up!
I was off work yesterday but back today. We went and saw Avatar in 3D yesterday afternoon and it was amazing. Really great story, edge of your seat the whole time, amazing effects. It was awesome.
Good Morning! It's an "eh" kind of day. Already did two loads of laundry and am trying to get excited about cleaning the bathroom and vacuming he upstairs and cooking dinner. All I really want is a nap.
***note to vacume cleaner manufacturers: If the vacume doesn't have a roller brush in it, it is just a glorified electric sweeper and worthless on carpets.

Good morning. The paychecks never showed up yesterday so today should be fun

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

Good morning ladies! I'm going shopping today for new clothes. Can't wait! I need new everything. I'm starting to get a little sad because my vacation will be over in a couple of days.
Betrothed, was it you who was left behind by the boss to take care of payroll alone? Eeek.
Hope you feel better Stack, being sick is no fun.
Anyone have fun plans for NYE? DH and I don't go out. I'm paranoid about drunk drivers and stuff. So we're making pot roast, drinking champagne, and watching the ball drop at home.

I HATE bars on NYE. HATE THEM. We have reservations at a restaurant out of town a bit that we haven't ever eaten at, and I'm pumped about it.
And, it's BYOB with a corkage fee, so that should bring down our bill considerably.
Then, we're going to a friends house to play board games, drink champagne and bring in the new year. We've fallen asleep before midnight the past three years, so we're hoping to make it this year!
Yup, that is me. I barely slept last night because I'm freaking out. If the checks aren't here by 11:00 this morning I'm calling my boss and interrupting his oh so freaking precious vacation (yeah, can you tell I'm flipping out?) to get contact information for the company that sends us the checks.

DH has to "work" NYE so I'm going to join him. Quiet evening of dinner, champagne and we'll watch the local fireworks from the top deck. (no one said he had to work hard)

Thanks! My NYE plans are going to dinner at Ruth Chris with Mr Stack and another couple who just got married in September (well a JOP before their REAL wedding next September) yes, I know.......she apparently doesn't know about the knot yet, maybe I can slip (P&)E to the conversation tomorrow night. AND lots of people don't know they're married yet. Then we're heading home to play Wii and avoid the drunks.
Good morning! I was out/away from the computer yesterday with the stomach flu. Horrible. But at least I didn't have it ON New Year's. We're hosting a very small party at our house tomorrow. Just a few people we know, heavy apps and champagne. Oh, and certainly making the fabulous punch Kate brought to the DC GTG. Any locals who want to come are welcome. :-)
Good Morning! I'm working, which sucks. I reeeeeeally need to be home cleaning. My house is a freakin disaster. I've done my freelance work every night this week, and christmas is still everywhere in my house. I hate it!
I also have to take down the tree here at work today or tomorrow, which I'm not looking forward to either. Ugh.
Good morning. I woke up with laregitus and have to work the phones. That should be intersesting. I have a holiday party to go to tonight and tommorrow I'm going to make a roast, drink, champagne, and play with fireworks.
I kinda cant wait for newyears - weve planned to watch anchorman, 40 year old virgin and wedding crashers. Its been so long since we saw any of them we figure they will be good movies to drink to. Then we might play some wii - were going to get more wii money today so I can get the new beatles songs (ive figured out it will cost 5700 wii dollars). Oh and were eating an incredible dinner. Who can beat that?
She is so, so nice so I feel awful, but she loves buying random crap at garage sales and re-gifting it.
In our Christmas package, I got that thing, plus some thumbtacks and chip clips. FI got a used DVD of a movie he already owns, a random reference book, and a game he specifically asked for. For my birthday, I got these awful dangly star earrings and a tiny notepad. Then there was the fine book "Wild Birds of Missouri" last year.
I think her line of thought was, "Brie likes cats!" or similar.

Morning! My day is not off to a great start. The damn mouse that decided to start living with us on Christmas day has avoided every single trap and poison box and decided to join me in the bathroom this morning while I was peeing. WtheF stupid mouse.
We're staying in tomorrow night. DH is cooking a duck and we'll probably play Skip-Bo and watch season 3 of Lost.

Did I miss anything around here yesterday?

I don't think there was much to miss yesterday. Just some newb silliness, but I forgot what it was even about

Nothing really happened yesterday. Pretty laid back. Oh, posts kept disappearing into a black hole, but that's about it.

You need to paint it a high gloss white and fill the tray with balls of yarn or an old glass milk bottle. At least make it non-serious and quirky!
