On the Topic of Wedding Photos...

I would love it if all you old married ladies (haha) would AW your top 3-5 fave pics from your wedding....along with a short snippet of why you love it so much.

I think it's neat to see what different photographers do with different venues, and also cool to see everyone's different styles/tastes.

plus, I'm bored, the board is slow, and want to see your awesome wedding pics all in one place.

Anyone gonna play??? I'd play, but I have 2 weeks and 2 days before I join the old married club

I haven't gotten all mine back yet.

But the photographer did just send me some first look pictures... and there are a couple that I just love! I just love looking at the progresssion of H's face when he sees me. It was normal face.... smile... big smile... (and then when I was in full view) =O" It is so cute.

I like it because I look nervous, but excited... lol. This was first look. I love how he captured our reactions!

This is maybe my top fav because I hate smiling in pictures usually, and this was completely candid, and worked so well.

I aw'd a little while ago, but I will add these as two of my favorites. This is my photographer peaking through the door at each of us right before the ceremony. We're both nervous and excited and haven't seen each other yet! In our album, she put them next to each other and it's my favorite page!

Cab, your pics are gorgeous!!

Let's see....I'm having issues PIPing.

completely candid, I was hanging in the limo waiting for all the guests to go in. I remember being amazingly calm.

Me and H's Grandma, this was sort of spur of the moment--we were chatting with her hand up like that and my photog loved the bling, which she (Grandma H) makes herself, even with late stage Parkinsons. She's a great lady.

Me and my hottie wedding party, waiting for the limo. This is legit the corner of the hotel we stayed at, on a sort of filthy street corner. Impromptu by me being sassy, cause I think I'm hot.

Haha our intro. We're sort of odd....

My favorite all time. Had no idea this was taken until we got our pics back, we had just exited the church. It's the only framed pic from the wedding we have so far!! Love it.

Love the pictures, Irish...I don't think I've ever seen any of yours except the siggy! I LOVE the last one. H and I have a similar one (but we're not smooching) and I like it a lot...FIRE, GET ONE OF THOSE!!!!

I don't think I've ever actually AWed wedding pics on here so here goes...

One of the reasons I wanted this venue bad, was because I had seen pictures of it just like this and I got it!

I may look dorky but I love it nonetheless, it's just a fun picture!

I didn't even know they were taking pictures of me here, I think it's artistic.

You don't see H but I just love how we're looking at each other in this one. It's in frame with the words that say "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breat away." Cheesy I know!

This picture screams bride and I love it! Haha

One of my favorite formals of us.

Yes we did bubbles! Haha

ETA: Ooops you said 3-5, my bad! I think the candid ones are ALWAYS the best pictures when it comes to weddings. They always come out so nice and unique!

Thanks for the little trip down memory lane. I haven't looked through my wedding photos in a while!

Here are some of my favs:

I love this pic because I absolutely LOVED my shoes!

I love the expression on my mom's face.

Believe it or not, this pic wasn't actually staged. We were standing around and my H pulled me close. I love how she captured it.

This one was staged. LOL It was taken on the front steps of the church (we were married in the same church as my parents).

I was absolutely in love with my little venue and how my coordinator was able to capture my vision. These pics remind me of the ones she texted me while I was getting ready after she had set everything up. It also reminds me of how amazingly carefree my day was. I was able to just enjoy my friends and family and literally did not lift a single finger or worry about one tiny detail.

This is of my autistic cousin and my flower girl.

This was the mother/son dance. Not sure if I should be offended that she was crying so hard, but I love the emotion in my husband's face.

Christian Louboutin. Completely impractical and OMG ridiculously expensive, but I had to have them- especially since I bought my BMs pairs too! :)

Those are all really pretty. Ok I totally suck. Yep I have been married for a year and have yet to pick out any pictures for the book or get the CD from the photographer. I have proof book. HAAA Let me see if I can lift some from her blog. HAAA
