i'm starting to feel the dreaded fmil frustration forming! ;P
i asked her to put some baby pictures of fi together (for the photo montage) along with some wedding photos of her and ffil and my guy's grandparents so i could put them out in the foyer of our venue as a nice touch. i asked if she could email them to me because she lives an hour away and it's hard to find time to drive down to her. she doesn't know how to scan. her husband was the head of the it department at the local college soooo..idk, maybe ask him?
i asked what her wedding song was because i'd like to add it to the list of slow songs that are played at the wedding. she doesn't remember. okay.
i asker what song she would like to be introduced to at the reception and she told me she doesn't know any. like, in general? or just any good ones? i don't know..i'm probably just being extra judgy because i'm stressed but it's just a bit frustrating.
SO! i just needed to get that out. THANKS FOR READING!

anyway, what are some songs you would suggest for fi's parents to walk into? my mom chose elvis presley's "burning love" for her and my dad and i'm having a hard time thinking of a good song, especially if fmil isn't a music type (which i'm just flabbergasted at..mainly because i LIVE for music; fi and i met on a music festival-themed cruise ship!). i would hope it would be a song she recognized at least, but i don't know what she listened to when (if?) she did enjoy music.
i think i'm also just frustrated because i find it difficult to interact with fmil because she's DRASTICALLY different from my mom. she's quiet, mega reserved, shy and awkward..so mostly, when i see her i become that because i don't want to freak her out with how i really am (pretty much just like my mother..loud, outgoing) and because she emailed me after the shower making a comment that i think was a back handed compliment, on how lively and loud my family is..sooo, yeah i'm still stuck on that.
i'm letting the smallest things stress me out, i swear!
