I know this is an etiquette board, but it's also pretty active and honest. So please pardon my non-etiquette post, but will you let me know what you think of my
hair/make-up timeline for the day-of. It kind of confusing but I have:
-2 hair stylists coming to do 5 girl's hair
-1 of the stylists will also do 6 girl's make-up
-One of my BM's (Mal) is doing my hair and here own make-up
Here is the timeline I have set-up (color coordinated per girl):

I'm just wondering if this is too ambitous?
Especially since stylist #1 will have a 1 month baby with her, which is why I have the breaks schedule. She's my normalist stylist and I really want to use her. It's her 2nd child so she said she's totally comfortable with it and has a back-up if she can't make it for some reason.
Re: Advice for day-of prep
Now to answer your question... that does seem a little tight. 15 minutes per hair style? Would it be possible for you to start at 8 instead of 9 to give yourself some more time? If you're left with a little "down time" after getting ready... I think that would be much better than rushing.
Edit: reading comprehension fail. You even said the colors were each person but I still saw 15-minute hair appointments. LOL. I still think I would want to build more of a cushion in to the schedule, just in case.
Married!
I know when I was MOH for my best friend, we did our own hair and make-up and she had the stylist come to the room to do hers. There were only three of us and it still took longer than we anticipated and we were running late by the time it was time to go.
Plus a 1-month old baby won't follow those exact breaks so expect the Mom to have to take breaks as needed and just try to keep the day moving if you/she can whenever she's not messing with the baby.

As a mom of a 3 week old, I agree with this completely. There is no schedule around here. =-)

[QUOTE]I would probably build breaks in for Kat as well so she can, at the very least, use the bathroom or grab some coffee. Plus that way, if she's running behind, she can move onto the next girl and not mess up the whole schedule.

Oh yeah, good catch, I didn't even notice that. Yeah you definitely need to built in some extra time to Kat's schedule.
