New to Board-Looking for a venue in Tampa

Hi all.  I'm just looking for some venue suggestions in Tampa.  It will be a small wedding (65 guests) and I'm partial to it being indoors, a place that can handle a simple ceremony as well as sit down dinner reception.  I'm hoping to find a unique, intimate space.

I looke forward to reading any suggestions.  Thanks!

Well pretty much any venue can handle that number. Are you looking to do the ceremony in the same place? There is a garden club in Seminole Heights that just got remodeled and it is GORGEOUS. I am pretty sure if you were doing the ceremony it would have to take place out on the lawn or patio though. I'm getting married at the Centro Asturiano in Ybor. They have a smaller room that accomodates up to 100 people that is really beautiful. I would suggest going to look at it because the photos on their website do not do it justice. They also have a theatre stage they do ceremonies on. It's really cool looking if you are into a historic vintage feel. Another plus is they have a resturaunt on site who does catering so the food would be fresh and hot. Look through the vendors guide on TK.

For a small wedding, look at Jackson's Bistro - they have an amazing room called the Waterfront Room.  It's nearly all glass and overlooks the water and convention center.

Also the Westin on the Courtney Campbell Causeway (Westin Tampa Bay) - they have some great spaces including a rooftop deck that is to die for.  I really wanted to look there, but our guest list was too many to accomodate.  The hotel isn't huge, so their spaces are tailored to a smaller group.

One other suggestion is the Rusty Pelican - they have many different sized rooms in their building- most overlooking the bay as well.
