I start on Friday.  Last BCP was yesterday, so I'm sure AF will be here soon to brighten my week.  My first acupuncture appt. was this morning so that was pretty cool.  Not sure if it will actually help my chances, but at least it will help me relax so I don't punch co-irker once I'm amped up on all these hormones.

My baseline and injection training class is Wednesday, and then I'm all set until monitoring starts next week.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

Excellent. I'm thinking good thoughts for you.

Have you given yourself injections before? I was super freaked out by it at first, but really, it isn't that bad. I usually go for the saddlebags on the side of my leg; it's a place that is easy to see and if the injection site gets sore, it isn't a place I lay or sit on, so isn't as bad.

My very first trigger shot (last Nov.) DH ended up having to do it because I was so nervous that I'd do it quickly and pull the needle right back out.  I did all my own injectiions for both IUI cycles so I'm not too worried about these.  I've heard the Ganirelix burns a bit though.  I think most can be done in my abs, so not hard at all to see.  DH will be giving the progesterone shots though, and they'll be the most painful.

My brother had to give his wife injections for their treatments.  Doctor brother recommended practicing on an orange to get the feel.

I hope the very best for you.

On the injections: if they sting sometimes the slower you go with the plunger the less they sting. At least that has been my experience with the lovenox.

That's what I've heard..do you have to do your lovenox shots in your butt like PIO shots?

Nope on my tummy or hips. But I tend to stick to the tummy since it's all I can see right now. When I was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago the nurse did it in my arm. It's sub cue not muscular so where ever there is fat is where I stick.
