I have some good ones to share once I'm a bit more organized at work today (took a 4-day weekend!).

    Haha!  I just bought a strapless suit just for that reason!  I need to start laying out so I get at least a little tan before wearing my white shower dress.

    Checks for me over the past week: wedding ring & tuxes!  Very exciting! 

    We were in NJ for a 4-day weekend and managed to get into NYC a couple of days.  The first day we figured out our tux rentals and FI bought a tux.  (He had slight buyer's remorse afterwards, but it was a pretty good deal, I think he'll wear it in the future and now he'll look extra good on our wedding day since it's tailored to fit him.)

    Then we went to the Diamond District yesterday and bought my wedding ring.  If you recall, I had a hard time finding what I was looking for in Ithaca.  But we found one there right away that we loved!  Looked at a few other stores, but came back to that one.  Managed to talk them down a little bit in price and bought it.  I want to wear it now -- it is so beautiful!  It's a delicate platinum band with diamonds all around it and the one they had in the store fit me perfectly.  I wanted to wear it on our walk and bus ride back to NJ for safekeeping, but FI wouldn't let me. 

    (Sorry, no pictures of the ring yet.)

    I totally get that feeling! I was really sad when we got our bands that I would have to wait 10 months to wear it (we got them in December).

    My accomplisment this week include...finally ordering my invites (took us longer to agree on wording then it did to find the style).  Working on menu cards, rehearsal dinner invites and wedding programs from my new found webiste.

    Will post one soon!    I hear ya on the invites; it took months for our wording to be finalized; it was the most annoying thing!
