Midwest Sound VS Complete Music

I know there have been alot of dj posts lately but I'd like reviews from people who have seen either of these djs or have used them in their own weddings already. I'm having a hard time choosing and honest knottie reviews always help!

Re: Midwest Sound VS Complete Music

I haven't actually USED Midwest yet, but they are booked for my wedding.  I pushed them to the side at first because I didn't think we'd be able to afford a "big name" company.  I was actually going to go with a small DJ in Madison until he started changing his prices almost weekly.  That's when I decided to look at my DJ stack from the bridal show I went to.  And of course Midwest's quote for my winter wedding (only $595 plus $25 for travel!!!) was right on top.  That's when we made the decision to go with them.  They have been VERY professional and understanding (we were late turning in a deposit for the "quote" they gave us due to our spring break and leaving it in Madison while visiting my parents). A lot of people say it depends on who your DJ is, so I'm going to request a few that I've seen suggested by this board.

I'm very happy I'm going to have a big DJ name at my wedding.  I feel like with all their experience, they will do a great job.  Plus they have "worksheets" for you to fill out to get to know your music taste.  So far I've had a great experience with them.  I'm also hiring a DOC in order to make sure everyone-DJ included-stays on a timeline and does exactly what WE want.

I'm really leaning towards Midwest Sound. I've talked to them twice now at two different bridal shows and I really like them. Their pricing seems very reasonable especially after talking to other dj's at the bridal shows.

I've been to two different weddings where Midwest Sound was the DJ - different DJs both times but both were really awesome and good at reading the crowd

We are also doing MWSL and they have been fabulous. My FI and I have had a ton of special requests and they have been completely awesome abut them.  Plus their website is super easy to do song selections!

I'm using them for my wedding in May and they are traveling and for 6 hours of music they are 820 totally a better deal then hiring someone in Wausau.  I am also wondering about any recom. on specific djs.  Please share!

I am using Complete Music - I went to a wedding last year and DJ - Bill was awesome. He really knew the crowd and was a lot of fun. We are using him for our wedding too next month.

We used Complete Music (I think Bill also) for our wedding last year and he was great.  He did the ceremony and reception, I would definitely recommend them. They're also around some bridal shows; I think we got a significant discount by booking that way.
