Buffalo Area Florists

Hi Ladies,
Does anyone have any recommendations for flroists in the area. I was shocked when I started researching the price of flowers. I'm hoping to keep it on the inexpensive end.
Has anyone used Maureen's Wholesale Florist?

Many of my Family/Friends have used Maureen.  She does beautiful work and from what I hear, for great prices.  I opted for candle centerpieces instead of Flowers (except for the Head Table)  and they saved a ton in the Floral department

I would go to Lipinoga Florist in Clarence

They are the best!  They make beautiful bouquets and have really fair prices.  You get a lot more flowers for your money than at other places I looked.

    ditto...

I would reccomend Lipinoga as well.  I have had many friends and relatives use them and not just for weddings.  As well as other bride's have had good things to say about them.

Be careful too becuase I thought I was going to do something else for centerpieces than flowers but by the time I looked at the price of ordering these lanters, the candles and votives to go around them it was a lot of money.  Jen at Lipinoga's offered to make me some sample centerpieces in the price range I wanted to spend on each table and I found it was much easier for me, especially since they set them up and there is nothing I had to worry about day of.

I am using Lipinogas as well. Though I admit I didn't shop around, they are just the local florist we always use.

I used Lipinoga's, they have great rec's both online and from friends.  Their prices are reasonable, but, to save even more money I had these silver vases on the pews for the ceremony and then a clip just came off and I used them at the reception.  I also used my unity candle centerpiece on my sweetheart table.  I also had two heart wreaths made for the doors of the church and then used them at the entry doors at the recpetion.   I had two larger vases on each side of the altar and used them on my place card table and the cheese and fruit display table during cocktail hour.  This way I didnt have to buy things twice.  Get creative about the things you choose, if you ask they will reccomend things you can use twice.
