I need help

choosing between these two dresses.

Allure 8802 is my safe choice.  It was what everyone thought was "the one" until last night.  I can picture everything from hair, make up and taking pictures.

Now everyone else thinks Maggie Sottero Adele with a matching belt is "the one."  This is one I see on shows like Say Yes to the Dress, and think wow I wish I could pull that off.  But I cant see it.

I'm stuck and can't decide for the life of me.

Yes, I tried Allure 8802 twice.  Once in August and once yesterday morning.

I've only tried the Maggie on once, while visiting my mother for dress shopping on Wednesday.  The only problem is it was too many sizes too small and I cant really "see"  what it would look like in my size.

I've called everywhere looking for the dress in my size and nobody has it.  I'm equally torn.

How did YOU feel about them? You mentioned that everyone thought....It's how you feel about them. Do you feel like the allure is the one? One of the best things I did was to go dress shopping by myself. I did find my dress while shopping for my mom but that was a total fluke.

What's your body type? I like both of the dresses but you really want to choose the one that looks best on you. If everyone else is saying that the Adele is "the one" then maybe you are just being too self-conscious. It's your wedding day and years from now you're going to look back at those pictures and think: I looked amazing. So, don't be afraid to be a little more bold about your dress. Plus, your FI will appreciate that gesture as well ;)

I'm 4ft 11in with an hourglass shape.  Yeah.  I showed him similar dresses that were pretty much identical and he chose the Adele looking one.  I am really self conscious.  I just always pictured myself in something classic.

I like them both, but maybe if you're still having a tough time, keep on looking.  You could be missing out on "the one", and by trying on a few more, you might realize what looks and feels "right" for you.

It's out there.  :)  Good luck!

I think that both of them are beautiful.  I think it depends on what you think fulfills your vision better.  When are you getting married?  Do you have more time to keep looking?  I agree with the idea of going by yourself.  It may also help to try on other shapes if you haven't already.  I do think both of these are beautiful though!!!

They are both beautiful gowns.  I think that when you try on a dress and see how it fits your body....you know when it's the ONE.

I am an Allure 8802 bride as well.  I originally thought I was 100% mermaid/fit and flare gown type of girl but went the complete opposite way.  I also love the classic feel of the dress but has a bit of a modern twist with the belt.  Pick whatever you like best!
