dining the big island..

I have a whole list of places people recommend for maui... but what about the big island?  I'm lookin for romantic outside or looking over the water view restaurants...
any suggestions?

    I'm such a boring person... we kept going to Outback Steakhouse!  Haha!  But it overlooks the beach!

    I'm always led around by my family who lives in Kona when I'm there so I never remember the name of the places we go to eat so I'm sorry I am no help other than Outback!  But I do know of a killer coffee shop where you can get a fabulous breakfast.  :)

    I'm not much help on this one, but have you checked out the restaurants in the resorts?  They have some amazing properties on the Big Island and I'm sure their restaurants are fabulous as well.

    I think there are more up in the resort area of Kahala... it terms of romance. I always think the Kona ones are a bit more fun/upbeat. (Definitely try the Kona Brewing Company Brew Pub)
