Hello, knotties!
I found a beautiful lace dres in a thrift shop for under $100 so I snagged it. It's too small right now (but I still have over a year til our wedding). I got it because it's exactly the lace pattern I was envisioning. It looks like it just needs to be cleaned and altered. I'm thinking that if it's too small to alter to my size, maybe I can have a dressmaker do something drastic to it and still make it work- like possibly adding a whole new boddice piece.
Has anyone here done anything similar with their dress? I'm really not into spending hundreds of dollars on a dress but want to know if its possible to go this route.
