Ok...so can you PLEASE tell me WHY I get emails from booths that I didnt even stop at...

I think if you put your name on ONE list, you get emails from all of them...I think they all send over all their info to one another.

Oh, and it gets better, I get emails from vendors about shows I didnt even show up to.

WTF?!?

I got some catering email just now and I didnt even stop at their booth. Please dont try to win me over...there was a reason that I didnt stop at your booth!

    You too? Man, it makes me never want to go to another one if Im going to be harassed like this. Even my vendors  (already booked) ask me to come to shows they're gonna be at. Why?

    Yup! If you registered when you walked in to the show, your information is out there. Be prepared for lots of e-mails and phone calls.

    I just like to go for the free food.  My favorite is when they send you an e-mail saying, "It was great meeting you at such and such show!"  Uh!  I know that we did not meet, 'cause I didn't go to that show!

    I haven't gone to any bridal shows, but somehow I am on somebody's list b/c I have been getting a crazy amount of postcards/emails about all types of things...from limo services to reception halls to registries!  UGH!  I have a feeling David's Bridal may have given my info out b/c I know they gave it to JC Penney's registry service.

    I have had this problem too.  I was also put on a few lists by the Wedding Channel when you had to do your Macy's online registry through them.  You often have the option to unsubscribe at the very bottom of the email, if not, reply to the email stating you wish to be removed from their mailing list.  Otherwise, they will completely overwhelm you.
