Hi!  Noticed on the board that you are having your wedding reception at The Big Room.  Can I ask, how many people do you expect?  We are having a very difficult time cutting down our guest list and thinking there will be about 150 attending.  I'm a little nervous the space isn't large enough.  Any thoughts?  Any advice?

    We are planing on 175, it says it fits 200 comfortably, but i don't think that has a dance floor. I would say 150 is a great number! even if it went a little above that it would be ok, and the prices are really good.

    Thanks!  Are you having enough seating for everyone?  Last time I was there 9 tables took up almost half of the main space and thats only 72 seats.  I have thought about doing seating for only 80% of the ppl and doing heavy apps, carvings station, etc. because of the space.

    The price is great - I will need to find a caterer who provides the china, linens, silver, etc - we are in that process right now (comparing and meetings).

    We are going back next week to do more measuring and setting a few things up to visualize the space better.

    Have you looked at their facebook pages, I have seen pictures (not of the full room) of 14 tables, which you could but 7-8 around it leading up to 112 total. but that is not a picture of the full room, we will probably have to move the buffet table to allow for a little more dance room, but we plan on seating everyone and possibly moving tables later. 

    There is a picture on december 6th album that has 12 tables and a huge aisle, so you could fill that aisle with tables to add for more, we are planning on about 20 tables. hope this helps, let me know how your visit goes!
