String Quartet or Trio

Does anyone have recommendations for a string quartet or trio that is good and in Long Island (not too pricey) ... I found a few I like in the city but they are more $ since they require a travel fee to get to Long Island.

    Please contact me at www.johnardenmusic.com I manage a number of live music acts for ceremony, cocktail hour, etc.  I am based out of Long Island and don't have any extra fees like the ones you've encountered.

    Call local colleges such as Adelphi, Hofstra, or C.W. Post. They usually have fabulous student string quartets that perform at a lower price then the professionals.
