Flight Museum wedding

Hello! This is my first time posting, my fiance is a pilot and I am checking out venues now at several flight museums in town. Has anyone ever been to a wedding at the Frontier Flight Museum in Dallas? There is another museum in Addison as well that I am curious about. Any help in choosing a venue would be great!
Sincerely,
Amanda

A Knottie a long time ago got married there.  She had a really great experience there from what I remember.  Stephie may have her review and post it later for you.

I inquired about the one in Addison, but the information was very vague and the initial e-mail from their contact was "here's the info let me know if you have questions"

I think when I added it up, it wasn't worth the headache. Fronteir of Flight museum has some general rental info and preferred catering on their site if I rememeber correctly...

Yes, I live in Addison and we went to tour the facility. The person in charge of events is fairly new and it seemed so up in the air of what the possibilities are, yet she did not really give any options. Any advice on how to start looking for venues in the area would be much appreciated! Cool

I would start with the vendor sticky at the top of the page.  I'm pretty sure that's where most of us got our start.

I've been to the Frontiers of Flight mesueum of dallas and also thought about it, but it was kind of largish/gymnasium like. I think the right lighting/staging would make a big difference in the space. It would be really cool to get married there and there is ample parking.

If you definitely want it at a flight facility, then get pricing and quotes for comparison's sake.

Start with Frontiers of Flight, then take their quote it to the girl in Addison to see what they can get you for similar.

See who their preferred caterers are (or if it's in house catering) to get estimates there as well.

Find out what all is included with facility rental (i.e. tables, chairs, linens, etc...) so you can get an idea on what you'll need to consider for additional spending.
