Its your wedding.....do how you want! My aunt passed 9 months before my cousin got married. So we had a lot of family that helped support her leading up to the wedding. They took a time in the ceremony to hand out long stemmed roses to those supportive people (women). So my mom, my other aunt at the time, my nana, her stepmom and those extended aunts we all have. It was a nice touch.
