Looking for Maui Photographer recommendations for reasonable rates.

So far I've heard of Anna Kim, and have contacted Hula Girl but they haven't been overly friendly in their responses so I'm hesitant.

We're looking for a local Maui photog, shooting digital to CD only (dont need any albums, frames, prints, etc.... my dad is a pro photog and can get it all at cost but i dont want him shooting my wedding). 

Any recommendations are helpful!

    I am just getting the CD (no prints/albums) through Kim Aihara. She is so sweet and our engagement photos turned out great. Her rates are reasonable and she is very accomodating. If you contact her tell her I said hi...

    Anna Kim is our photographer and she is amazing. She is very responsive and even worked out a payment plan that fit our needs. We had our engagement shoot with her a few weeks ago and we barely noticed we were being photographed which was great as we both are a bit camera shy.

    I highly recommend Anna. I will post engagment photos once we get them back.

    Contact Natalie Brown Photography.  She is who I had booked first, but she got pregnant and was due to have her baby 1 day before our wedding.  She is super sweet and her work is awesome.  Add to that much more reasonable pricing than a lot of Maui photos and you score! 

    She did vacation pics a few years ago and we loved working with her!

    We also hired Kim Aihara. She's been very friendly and responsive. We are also only getting a CD and she has a second shooter come with her. And I agree that her rates are reasonsable.

    My photog is a Maui native, but lives in Oregon. He is amazing!!! He flies to Maui quite often since his family still lives there. He doesn't have albums/prints/etc included in his package, just photography services. His prices are extremely reasonable and he is always willing to travel back home. His website is benpigao.com. He flew down to San Francisco to shoot our engagement photos and he was so easy to work with. Very laid-back and professional. Highly recommend him!     Thanks all! I was looking at Hula Girl photography because they are almost half the price of all the others.  Hula Girl Photography is mostly done by Stewart pinsky, previously of Stewart Pinsky Photography. Any reviews or info on him? Ive seen alot done by him but much cheaper and few recommendations, and am wondering why....

    I don't have any input on Stewart, but his work is gorgeous and his prices can't be beat!  I hope someone else can give you some first hand experience with him but I've been on this board for a while and can't recall anyone using him, but I could be wrong.

    I'm just going to throw Joanna Tano's name out too. She did our wedding, TTD and anniversary shoot (2 years later). LOVE her.

    We loved Mike Sidney's work, but wanted more candid photos for our renewal. He was reasonable for the time we requested. I also contacted Natalie Brown as well and have nothing bad to say about her.
