    I believe in a lot of things. I believe in fresh tennis balls, the healing power of bunnies, and that the novels of Susan Sontag are something I'll never read. In fact, I don't even know who Susan Sontag is. What is she... like... a painter? I believe in Crystal Lite because I believe in ME. I believe in the movies of Val Kilmer, though these days it ain't so easy. I believe in Darren Sproles, the word "dabble", the first season of "Silk Stockings", and big, warm, moist, gooey chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth and all over your face.

    Amazing!! You looked completely gorgeous and calm. I can't imagine dealing with that the night before my wedding.

    Thanks everyone.  Now that I had time to think about it I can't say it was the smartest thing I've ever done but then again you go on autopilot in that situation.  My grandma is crazy she actually had a mild heart attack and signed herself our against doctor's orders.  But actually I think she would have been more upset and hurting inside of the hospital than in it.  My sister is my hero, IDK if I could have gone back into the building.  The fireman escorted her up and held a flashlight while she threw everything in garbage bags.  When it was all said and done our wedding went perfectly, you would have never known anything had happened until the DJ showed the video footage on the screen LOL.  It was everything and more than I could ask for.  I was so calm because nothing else that could have gone wrong would have bother me.  My mom said in the worst case scenario we would have called everyone and changed out theme to a pajama party LOL.

    We were able to get into the building today and got essential items for mom, grandma and my uncle that also lives there.  The apartment was not damaged, just minor smoke.  A fresh coat of paint will do wonders.  We also found the cat, Mia, safe and sound- just hungry and thirsty.  They have been staying with us so DH and I haven't gotten to enjoy any time alone but I don't even care at this point.  On Saturday we will find out when they can go home.

    Wow that's crazy!  I can't believe that happened!  I used to live in Hoboken and there always seems to be fires happening everywhere.  I'm glad you and everyone else were okay and that the wedding could still go on.  AND that you were able to wear your wedding dress and ring. Congrats on your wedding! :)
