Nevada-Las Vegas

Waaaahhhhhhhh!!!

That is the sound of me crying because I think I am going to have the lamest bachelorette party in all of Vegas!!! Two weeks ago one of my bridesmaids infomed me she is pregnant (she will be 7 months at the wedding), yay for them because they have been trying for a while!

Then on Friday ANOTHER bridesmaid informed me she is also pregnant (she will be 6 1/2 months at the wedding), also very excited because they have been dealing with lots of stress and they deserve it.

But then today it hit me! One of my other bridesmaids is my sister who doesn't drink and my last bridesmaid had a baby 7 months ago and has also stopped drinking. SOOOOOO I think my bachelorette party will consist of me, my mum, mum's bff, and 2 aunts who are all over 55!!!! HELP!!

So while I am delighted for my friends for starting families I am a little bummed that while FI will be out partying with his boys I will NOT be partying with my ladies....okay rant over! But feel sorry for me if you like. Undecided

Can you do something that doesn't involve drinking? Maybe a spa day, or go on a group tour to Hoover Dam?

Pregnant people can have fun too, haha. That's been my BIGGEST pet peeve with so many of my friends. So many have found out I'm pregnant and been happy for me but it's been followed with, "Oh - well I guess Vegas won't be as fun for you now, hey?"

    Ugh.

Aaawww poor muffin.  Frown  Do you think you might be able to have the b-party back home with the BP and other girlfriends who can/do "partay" so you can have the wild night it sounds like you desire?

The other option that your BMs might appreciate and you may enjoy is a spa day instead of a traditional b-party.

So sorry you are disappointed.  I am sure your girls will work something out for you.

Thanks ladies for being so supportive! Originally we spoke about dinner, then drinks at a lounge or piano bar, and then maybe some dancing........sooooo I think we will probably just stop at the piano bar. I know prego's have fun too but I think the baby bumps will have to skip dancing, lol!

@ Vfriday - I wish we could do that but I am in Scotland and my entire wedding party is in Florida so can't do that either, I know my friends here will do something but it's not the same as Vegas!

At the end of the day I will just be excited to be around everyone I love the most because I don't get to see them that often, I just might be the only drunk one. HA!

maybe since you can't have one at your current location, do you have friends who are not in the bridal party going to vegas? i'm sure someone will be able to go out for drinks and dancing!

But a spa day is also nice...maybe do a little of both? Such as go get massages or mani/pedis and then get dinner and hang out at the piano bar after. They may not be able to drink, but they could still be good company :)

or crash the boys party =)

Whatever you do just make sure to enjoy yourself!

Maybe a Cirque du Soleil show with your WP girls. Love and Mystere are Amazing!!!  It's something that you would all enjoy and remember forever. Just don't go to the Chris Angel one, you would likely be dissapointed.  Then after meet up with some others that may come in town early to celebrate with you all , "and join you in some drinks."  Don't fret too much, I'm sure you'll have a blast one way or the other....and you'll be less likely to wake up in a scene from "The Hangover!" :)

You can still have plenty of fun!! You can do Thunder from down under or some other male show. You don't have to drink to have a good time.

We're doing dinner and a piano bar!  I agree with PP you will still have a lot of fun with them and just because they aren't drinking doesn't mean you don't have too.  I went to my friends Bparty in vegas and I was pretty much to only one drinking but we all still had a good time (and one of my friends was pregnant at the time too.)  We went to Lavo for dinner and it was so good and had the 'club' feel to it, without making the older ladies feel out of place.

Thanks ladies! I think I was just having a wee bridezilla moment, I know we will have fun no matter what happens I think I just needed a little reassuring. Thanks for the suggestions!
