Finding a place for a reception

I have been searching, lookkng at, emailing and calling places in southeastern Wisconsin and have yet to find something that works within a small budget and is somewhat decent.

Our dream place is a finished barn that we can decorate with a rustic decor. Also, we would like to be able to bring in our own beverages.

We have looked at state and county parks but have yet to find a shelter that fits 150 people and is decent.

If anyone has an idea on places that are within a 45 minute drive from Pewaukee I would greatly appreciate it!

Check out the Chandalier Ballroom in Hartford....they have a smaller room that has a rustic feel.

If you like the parks try getting a tent for everything and then you can up your number of guest

We are using the Pulaski Inn in Cudahy. They are very reasonably priced...while you can't bring in your own beverages, we are ecstatic to have our reception here.

We're doing our reception at Badger Farms in Madison - It''s really pretty, affordable, and lets you bring in your own drinks. We looked at Trimborn too and it is really beautiful, but has a lot of restrictions (no liquor (only beer and wine), no amplified mudic, must end by 10PM). If you don't mind those things though, it's gorgeous!
