Engagement Pics in LP

My fiance and I are doing our engagement pictures at the end of May and we were thinking of doing them in LP.  We both enjoy walking through there and it's close to our house.  I was wondering if anyone else has done their pictures in LP and how they turned out.  Hopefully the bridge renovation will be done by then!!

    We did ours at the Conservatory, the Caldwell Lily Pond, and the lakefront (near North Ave Beach) and they turned out beautifully. We chose the LP area because there are so many different types of shots you can get (nature, architecture, skyline, industrial, etc).

    Lincoln Park is a fabulous location!  True a lot of variety all within walking distance.  A few of these colorful tree photos (towards the bottom) were photographed in LP this past Fall.

    We had ours done in the Conservatory, lilly pond, fountain and the surrounding area. Unfortunately they had just started the bridge thing so our pond pics are more like a giant mud pit! I was not a happy camper about that, but it is what it is.

    One nice thing about that area is that you don't have to have a permit to take pics there.

    sounds like a very pretty idea since by that time i assume leaves and flowers will have arrived.
