Crate and Barrel--Registry Events

FI and I attended a C&B registry event on Sunday to start our registry and I highly recommend it if you are planning on C&B!! We went to the one in Skokie and it was from 9-11am so we had the store to ourselves since it was before opening. There were 2 other couples there and the store offered us juice, coffee and mimosa's as well as some light food (including pumpkin pancakes!). They had a few of the staff there to help answer questions all over the store. It was a lot of fun...FI wasn't looking forward to it (he thinks we registered too early) but afterwards he even commented how much fun it was.
If you can attend one of these events, do it!!

    i so wanted to go to the one in schaumburg yesterday but wasn't able to... i hope there are a few more (other than nest sunday) before the holidays. its good to know that your FI enjoyed it b/c my FI was hoping i would register there alone :)

    We went to one downtown. It was so much fun!!! I loved it!!! Macy's also has events in case you were planning on registering there.

    Ooooh I loved their registry events. FI and I went for Valentines Day in Minneapolis (for our engagement party) and we had so much fun. He especially loved getting free swag (scissors from Wusthof).

    I have since gone to several of their events just for the free food and to purchase people things off their registry there. It is so much easier when there are fewer people in the store.

    How do I find out about future registry events?  I wasn't able to find anything on Crate & Barrel's website.

    we're going to the one on Mich Ave this Sunday! I'm so excitd. I already started to add stuff to our registry because I don't know how focused FI will be. It's from 9-11am and he said we just better get home in time for football. UGGG
