  • Happy Thanksgiving!! Don't worry, the hubby has been attempting to take all sorts of pics on this trip of all his family and intentionally taking horrible pictures. :) lol

  • I'm actually a little SAD this Thanksgiving. My family isn't even getting together. This is the second Holiday season without my Grandma and all tradition has gone to HECK! My aunt is having her kids and gradnkids. My uncle and his family are going to his wifes side...and my mom is going to Florida because her husbands great grandma lives there and she isn't doing so well. So basically a 40 year tradition is now dead because the one person who held all the little pieces together is gone. Every Thanksgiving up until NOW I have gone to my family's get together then Justins afterward...and now its only his to go to this year because that's all there is. I don't want to not see my family for the holidays and that's exactly what's happening.

  • Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!  Today we are just having a little Thanksgiving dinner at our place with H's parents.  Saturday I am traveling back to my hometown, my cousin and his wife are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner at their place.  Our thanksgiving dinners have never been the same for the last 10 years.  My Grandmother has since passed, but she used to host a Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Eve soup dinner, Christmas Day dinner, and an Easter dinner every year as I was growing up and I always looked forward to these days and her cooking, especially her deviled eggs!
However, I am excited that this is the beginning for my H and I to start our own little Traditions for the Holidays!

  • We didn't take any pictures, but I do think we had a good day. His sister and her twins (age 12) came over around 11. We only had my step-daughter, also 12, and then his parents came around 5pm. I was up the night before baking until 3am, and up at 7:30. I was in bed last night around 11:30 after cleaning and putting all those leftovers away. I am beat!
