Taylor Rentals in Brunswick

Has anyone used Taylor Rentals in Brunswick?  Their prices are reasonable except for the delivery charge ($75.00 each way)  and they seem accomodating on the phone.  I can't get up there for a few weeks to check out the chairs and tables, just wondering if it is worth the drive.  Anyone have any experience with them?

    i haven't but when i did a google search i found one review

    I can't believe this place is still in business. The owner actually has a reputation for being rude and hard to work with. I worked at a restaurant for years that had to do all of our wedding reception rentals through him, and it was only nightmare after nightmare. I vowed I would never rent from them. Seems that anyone we have talked to has said "Oh yeah, Taylor Rental, that guy is a pompous jerk" However, in a pinch, my husband needed a piece of equipment we could only find there. The day he rented it, it broke 30 mins in to the job. He took it back and the guy actually ACCUSED my my husband of putting a foreign substance in it. Finally he agreed to fix it and told my husband to come back the next day to rent it again. When my husband arrived (a forty minute drive for us) he was told it wasn't ready yet (thanks for the phone call!)
    He was told he could get it the following Friday. He went again to do the job, again, it broke, actually causing damage to the floor of the house he was working in this time, which now he will have to fix. He had to go back. Thankfully, he was able to find the equipment somewhere else, and needless to say, that will be our last time ever doing business with Taylor Rental, and we will be VERY vocal about letting everyone else know!

    Yikes!!! I spoke to a woman and she seemed very accommodating maybe, I better rethink this. Thanks.

    That's who I was going through before I had to change our reception. They were great! I don't believe it's the same guy anymore and everyone I've talked to has had great experiences renting with them. I'd say don't be scared off by the one review!

    it looks like there are two taylor rentals (same company) this lady didn't specify which one she rented through...maybe she had these problems with someone in biddeford?

    i wouldn't be scared off by one review either, it was just the only one i could find.

    We are renting our chairs from them for our ceremony. Their prices are really good, and they are the only rental place that we could find in the midcoast area. We actually went to the Brunswick location, and the woman in charge of party rentals is very nice and accomodating. We were more than happy with our service.

    Our tent rental place is also in Brunswick, http://netentandawning.com/ if you are looking in that area.  They don't have tons of party rentals, but I think they have tents, chairs, tables, dancefloors, and lighting (we are getting a tent and garden chairs from them).

    I used them for my wedding last July. I had no problems with the customer service and they were quick to respond to my changes. The only issue that I had was that the dance floor was put together so that there were some places where it did not come completely together.
