I just started planning and was hoping someone could give me an idea of the average photographer and DJ or band prices in Westchester.

I am in dutchess county. Our photographer package came to 3,700 with tax and all. that includes photo rights and album and engagement shoot, thank you cards, and 2 photographers all day.

my dj was 600 for music and 200 extra for some little extras such as basic lighting and a gobo.

I found a great deal for a photographer, paying $1750 for 8 hrs of work on the wedding day. It also includes engagement pics. I pay $2500 for DJ

I am paying a little over $2000 for my DJ and $2100 for my photographer (which includes engagement shoot, the rights to my pictures, two parent albums and one really nice album for my FI and I after the wedding. my DJ is a family friend out of Yonkers called Big Time Johns entertainment, and my Photographer is Owl's eye studio, its a cute husband and wife team!

My photographer is Jonathan from Fly Me To The Moon Photography- he's incredibly nice and flexible, and while he's from this area he's coming all the way to VT to photograph our wedding for less than $2,000! He includes everything (DVD with all images to print out, custom website of images, an album, and he's with you all day if you like). Seriously awesome!

DJ's I'm on the fence. I'm from Westchester but getting married in VT so it's hard to find a DJ. I got information from one in VT but haven't had the chance to meet them- and they look professional but less enthusiastic perhaps- they're Peak Entertainment in VT for $1300. Then I got a quote from a family friend, NCDJ Connection in Mohegan Lake, NY- he's above and beyond with the enthusiasm- willing to work with us price-wise and had a ton of samples and things to show us when we met him, as well as videos on his website which I loved. He's about $1,000 more but willing to travel and does this live music as well as DJ thing, plus his daughter is singing at our ceremony because she's amazing anyway.

If anyone's had any experience with NCDJ Connection please give me any feedback- would be so appreciated!

You cant go wrong with Owls Eye Studios, Josh and Trish are the BEST!!!!! They did our wedding in September and we couldnt have been happier, they got amazing photos but they were so much fun to work with and you can tell they really enjoy what they do unlike so many other photographers we had met with before booking them. Good luck on your big day!

We are also considering the same photographer that you used, can you tell me about them? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks! Michelle
