Poughkeepsie ladies - bridal shower advice

Hi:

I just researching into some last minute locations just in case for my bridal shower. Where did you have yours if from or at least within 10 miles of Poughkeepsie? Just looking for something low cost and low-key with lunch.

    We had mine under a tent in my parent's backyard but we had my friend's shower at Coppola's on Route 9.

    I had mine at River Station along the Poughkeepsie waterfront.  They have a nice private room upstairs with a great view of the bridge.

    River Station has good food.

    Also, Shadows might be nice...especially during the day you might get a great section of the restaurant or one of the rooms.

    Kris,

    Mine will be at Cosimo's in PK.  We had my sister's there 3 years ago and they did a very nice job.  Their are several options and their catering package is on their website.

    Kris--- Love Cosimo's.. Dan and I went there on our one year anniversary and the night he proposed (4 year anniversary).   I don't know where we are doing the rehearsal dinner since the shower will be there. 

    Side note.. read that you are using Apple Valley Florist on another post! US TOO!  Just another similarity!   :)

    mine was a t cosimos - nice place
    my cousins was at Hudson rib and fish (the puff things there are AMAZING!)
    but I LOVE the shadows sunday brunch - we had a mothers day brunch there and someone was having a shower out on the veranda - it was great... if i could do it all over again it would be THERE!
