An idea for all you pretty brides

Before you head to India or out shopping, go to a home improvement store (Lowes, for example) and collect paint swatches that match the colors of outfits you're looking for. This is handy especially if you want a sari or suit in a color and you can't go shopping yourself to get it. They're handy to carry and they're free to pick up...and best of all, they have color upon color, shade upon shade!

    My mom and I have used this idea before when either one or the other of us travels to India w/o each other. It works really well!

    Wow great idea!
    I went to a fabric store and just got a sample of the colour i like.  They don't charge you if the sample you need is less than 6 inches square

    We are only staying there for 3 weeks so we had to order the BM sari's ahead of time. I am hoping the color matches everything else.

    Hey DFW...I'm sure they will but for some reason that they don't ...the only person that will know the colour they are supposed to be is you!
